Collection: Orr Herz

Orr Herz received his B.A. in History from Tel Aviv University and his B.F.A from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, both in Israel, his native country. In 2013, he moved to Los Angeles and received his M.F.A. from the University of Southern California. Working in a wide rage of materials and formats - including found material, ceramics and drawing - Herz’s ongoing practice develops symbolic visual worlds for playful interpretations. Personal identity, everyday encounters and mythical context inform both his personal practice and his path as an educator.

Herz has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the U.S. and Israel. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
