CRAZY CRAYONS and the National CRAYON RECYCLING PROGRAM has been in the crayon recycling business for over 24 years! The CRAYON RECYCLE PROGRAM has COLLECTED OVER 120,000 POUNDS of unwanted crayons since the program started. An amazing milestone! The crayons arrive at the Crazy Crayon workshop to be melted down, strained, sterilized and hand poured into beautiful, functional works of art for kids to enjoy. Crayons are a petroleum product, they take many years to biodegrade.

Our crayons color just like any other crayon, because we don’t add or take away anything in our recycling process. CRAZY CRAYONS are NON-TOXIC, because they go through an extensive sorting process to use ONLY crayons certified with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
