Elderberries are antiviral powerhouses that help to ward off cold and flu and may shorten the length of a bout with either.

We made this batch of syrup with organic Ginger and organic Ceylon Cinnamon from our dear friends at Adaptations Farm in Honaunau, Hawaii. It will chase any seasonal bugs away. Alcohol-free

To use: take one teaspoon daily for a tasty immune boost. Keep refrigerated

Ingredients: Elderberries* (Sambucus nigra), Ceylon cinnamon* (Cinnamomum verum) bark, Ginger* (Zingiber officinale) root, water and cane sugar*


Our elderberry syrup is another of our apothecary’s beautiful, alcohol-free immunity remedies that can hold its own in the kitchen:

☀︎︎ Add to seltzer for a tasty herbal soda
☀︎︎ Stir into your steel cut oats or chia pudding
☀︎︎ Warm it up in a rich fatty nut milk like macadamia with a tablespoon of Maca for an energy boost
☀︎︎ Drizzle it on veggies a few minutes before you finish roasting them. Remove from oven and add a squeeze of lemon juice, pinch of cayenne, touch more EVOO and chopped fresh cilantro for even more zest. Serve alongside a grain with a bit of weight like freekeh, buckwheat or farro
